A handheld device generates high-energy acoustic waves to the site of pain or injury. These waves penetrate the skin and stimulate the affected tissues, helping to increase blood flow, break down scar tissue, stimulate collagen production and reduce pain.

For optimal results, patients may need between 3 to 6 sessions, spaced about a week apart.
